Hello
I hope that you are enjoying everything that our U3A has to offer. Our group leaders have been working really hard and it shows ….our general meetings have been really interesting with some very good speakers and the various interest groups all report the same. The visit by our local firefighters and the art group’s visit to Blackwell Arts and Crafts museum were particular highlights for me and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year’s full programme.
Our refreshments have, as usual, been delicious and it has been lovely seeing so many of you using the chance to catch up with friends - both old and new.
For those of you who haven’t yet joined us I can assure you of a warm welcome and an interesting time. If you look through the list of groups and activities I’m sure you will find something that piques your interest and if you can’t - we’re open to suggestions.
I look forward to seeing you at a meeting soon
All the best
John Hunter
