At the next meeting on Wednesday 16th September MAGDI GREISS is coming back to talk to us. This time he will be telling us about the New Egyptian Museum in Cairo. I believe it is really wonderful so it will be very interesting.

Hello and welcome to our website
As we come back after our summer break I hope that you are as excited as I am about what the next few weeks will bring us. I hope that you have had a lovely summer and are refreshed and raring to go! I know that our group leaders have been working hard and have great plans for the coming year, some of you never stopped and carried on during the break, I know that the gardening group all thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Muncaster Water Mill and if this is a taste of what our U3A has planned - we’re in for a great year.

As we head into winter we are going to be seriously looking for members to become members of the committee and I hope that you think about this and let us know if you’d like to give it a go. Don’t forget too that if you’d like to start a group up that we don’t have at present, we’d encourage that as well.
